Such a little poser.
Someone needs to hire this boy to model.
He’s so extraverted,
he’d love all the attention.
I look like Cousin It in this photo. lol
There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats.
Albert Schweitzer
For me, it’s art, cats,
and a bossy, spoiled, stubborn,
disagreeable, fearless little Terrier guard dog
(who’s ready to bite me
or defend & protect me
at any given second –
take your pick
hahaha)
I counted 6 blossoms, and
19 buds which are slowly opening.
So beau tee FULL

Reading – I didn’t start any new books last week. I need time to catch up on the books I’m already reading first, but I do have a couple new ones in mind to buy.
I have found the best way to keep reading is to have another book or two waiting to read after I finish a book. That gives me something to look forward to, so I push forward reading the current book to get to the next one.
I let The Authenticity Project go back to the library without finishing it. I just couldn’t get into it, so there was no sense in renewing it. It’s a fairly new book, so I’m sure others are waiting to read it.
I read a chunk of Amanda Palmer’s book last night, and as I predicted, I like it a lot. I was supposed to package up some orders, and instead found myself plopped down in a chair outside, with my eyes glued to my phone.
I don’t know what took me so long to buy this one. I love the raw, honest, personal, human way she writes, not only about herself, (flaws and all, which takes guts, imo) but others also. Whether she’s writing a blog post, a book or on Substack, she comes across as if she’s a close friend, and we’re sitting around drinking coffee and chatting about life. She’s an amazing inspiring storyteller. Okay, enough gushing. lol Love you, Amanda..call me!! 😉
I’m going to stick with funny links today because I think we can all use a giggle.
Quite funny and cute – a Twitter account for Cats With Jobs. Who knew there were so many kitties in the work force? lol
hahaha..I’ve never given any thought about how hard selling mirrors online must be (and I thought selling art was difficult HA! At least I don’t have to put a sheet over my head to do it lol). Nobody wants their reflection in the glass, but it’s nearly impossible to take a photo of a mirror otherwise. Of course, I’m such a nerd, I had to look it up, and found a solution to their problem.
This “sheepdog” is also hilarious!
Watching:
Finished watching Sick Note on Netflix. I started out not being into this one. The first episode wasn’t that great. The second episode hooked me with it’s very lol funny parts. As it went on, tho, season two literally put me to sleep. ZZZzzzzz. They seemed to be really milking what little storyline was left, but the cow ran dry. Season 1 was totally worth the time..the doctor was hilarious. Not sure if I’ll watch season 3, if there is one.
Edited: there won’t be a season three..it was cancelled. hm..I guess it wasn’t just me who didn’t like season two. Now I’ll always wonder who’s the baby’s daddy. lol Oh, well. It should have wrapped on season 1, imo.

I hope I’ve made you smile, and that you have a happy, peaceful Monday. I’m off to the studio.

Lots of new items are available in my Etsy shop, and more are being added daily – coffee mugs, postcards, notebooks, iPhone cases, tote bags, throw pillows and blankets.
Although I mostly hang out here on my own website, there are other places to find me online.
