Big city banker takes away couple’s house

Flashback to 2008, when George Bush was president, and the economy took a nosedive. It was a difficult time in America. 

Work in progress shots are always fun to look back upon to see how much my work has changed. I used green a lot in my work back then, I’m realizing. It looks like I used very basic primary colors. I don’t think I knew how to mix paint back then. 

The green face makes it look like he’s about to hurl, and it makes me giggle just a little bit. 😀

I think I should have left the sky blue, so the couple showed up better. I think I was thinking about a thief stealing something, and that usually happens in the dark, maybe? Not sure. Too long ago, and many, many paintings since then.
