This is the second new floral painting I’m working on that I mentioned Tuesday. I actually started painting it a couple years ago, and it’s been sitting in my “to be finished” pile ever since. I liked it, but the roses were blending into the background, and I wanted them to pop.
Now, the roses pop. lol I’m liking the knife marks, and impasto style of this one. I’m gobbing the paint on thick, and that’s always a fun way to paint. I might add little marks here and there..maybe a little more paint on the table, but I think it’s mostly finished at this point. I’ll let you know when I offer it for sale or you can get first dibs by contacting me.
