My word for the year

It’s probably not a big surprise that this is my word for the year. I kinda hinted at it strongly when I wrote this post back on December 9th. 

I made this HUGE sign, and it’s on the wall in front of me. I see it every time I look up from my work table. There’s no way I can forget what my intention is this year. 🙂

I realize I’ll still be painting other things in 2020 that might not be as much fun or playful in nature. My goal is to focus on playing more often, tho..even if it’s just 10 minutes a day.

I’m going to make my playtime my main focus here on my blog. It will definitely make blogging easier because I won’t have to search for something to write about. Plus, it will keep the play flowing..can’t skip playing today because what will I blog about tomorrow? Ah yeah, it will all work hand in hand, and by making it all work together in this way, I’m also setting myself up for success. I hope. lol

My word for this month is presence. Kinda funny because I’ve been studying/reading/listening to The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle for a couple months now. Kinda feels woo-woo that this is my word. ha! Serendipity.
