Maybe If We Walk – Katie Jeanne Wood

This is one of my favorite abstracts that I’ve painted lately. When I paint something that resonates with me, I have started asking myself questions, such as what is it about this one that I love? It’s definitely the pink and orange colors, the hint of baby blue, the circles, and grungy look on the upper left. Basically, everything about the painting is what I consider my style. I was in the zone when I created this one.

If I don’t like something I’ve painted, I ask myself why not? And what can I do to make it more appealing and likable. Sometimes the answers come to me quickly, but other times I have to hang the painting on the wall, and live with it for a while to figure it out.

Reading: eBay and Top Officials Named in Federal Lawsuit – This was quite shocking to me. I’ve followed Ina’s blog since forever..like 2007ish. She’s always been factual, fair, and tells it like it is..no drama, no fluff, and I’ve appreciated that about her. When I received her email yesterday informing us (her subscribers) of what’s going on, my mouth dropped open. I had heard about five ex-eBay employees pleading guilty a while ago, but had no idea whom it involved. I’m so disgusted with eBay right now. I hope the Steiners are able to find the peace they deserve once this horrible nightmare is over for them.
