ICYMI: I started a new series of character paintings wearing winter hats. If you want to see them, they’re here: Hitting the ground running in 2023. My post didn’t go out to my email subscribers Monday, but I hope it’s fixed now.
Men oil pastel series
SOLD
I sold 18 of my oil pastel portraits, plus other paintings, in two days last week. There was quite a flurry of activity at my shipping table to get them all shipped out quickly. I thought I’d share some photos of one order I packaged up to ship.
I put each painting in a protective sleeve before enclosing them in cardboard. They looked so cute lined up like that. I had to take their picture, since it would most likely be the last time I saw them. These men are on a journey to the big state of California.
I made my own packaging from recycled cardboard to hold the paintings in place, and to protect them during shipment.
Since I sell online, I have to ship things out quickly – either the same or next day an order comes in. I’m unable to do make packaging for every order I get because it takes a bit of time. I wish I could, but it would have taken me days to ship out all the orders I recently got.
Aww..sooo pretty!
I highly appreciate those of you out there,
who still love and value handmade items.
It means everything to me.
Ta-da! Off they go to their new home. I said goodbye to them, and wished them all safe travels.
All of my colorful men portraits are sold out now. I have marked down the few others I have left, if you want to take a look.
I’ll also be offering prints of these guys, since I took hi-res scans of them. I just need time to edit the photos. If you want a particular one, contact me, and I’ll see what I can do to speed up the process. Otherwise, it might be a couple weeks before I get to it.
Have a lovely creative day.

Playing in theaters now! See my artwork in a new movie – The Whale starring Brendan Fraser.
I’ve been busy slashing prices in my eBay store and on Etsy. Some artwork I have marked down to only $10 or $15. I’m trying to clear out older paintings, so I have room for the new ones.
As always, if you want to say hello or have any questions you can write me here. I love getting email, and hearing from you.
