No bees this year,
thanks to the velvet ants (wasps),
so very few blossoms. 
Next year will my job title around here
change to Bee Keeper?

The leaves are falling off the trees in the backyard because of lack of rain, and 100+ temperatures for weeks on end. 

This bad boy was sitting over my next door neighbor’s roof, and was menacing looking. I thought it might drop a tornado or some rain. Neither happened.
