Mini painting – boy wearing pink shirt and tie. I’m revising this from a series I did called the Boys Wearing Tie Series. I can’t remember what year I started this series, but most of them sold. I only have 4 or 5 left out of 30 something. So, I’m refreshing the paint on these, and changing the colors because they were all very dark.

I wanted to paint what it looks like when I feel my back is up against the wall, and I’m not given any options. When I have that feeling of YOU MUST looming over my head. I could have painted an abstract, but I’m obsessed with portrait painting at the moment. So, this is what I came up with, and man, is she ever scary looking. lol She reminds me of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, and we all know what an unpleasant human being he is. Did I really just call a cartoon a human being? bahahahaha
