Because my brain is starting to crave more structure to my workdays during this never ending pandemic, I’ve decided to start a little painting challenge. I’ve set a goal of painting 100 oil paintings.

I was going to give myself a deadline, but have decided against it. The timeline isn’t important. I just want to have fun with it, and whenever I set too many rules for myself it ends up being a total drag.
No rules.
No deadline.
100 paintings.

June 15th..update
Gave her a couple days for the paint to settle, and then I added some finishing touches late this afternoon. I went over it very lightly with a dry brush to blend the paint.
I might change my mind later, but right now, I think she’s finished.
I’ll tell you what my thoughts are about the new (to me) Gamblin paint I’m using in my next blog post. See you then.

What I’m reading: The Virus Will Win
Seller Questions USPS Signature-Required Fees amid COVID – this is an interesting read because the postal workers here have never worn masks..not when they’re delivering mail or when they’re working behind the counter at the post office. I live near a very busy PO, and there’s usually 3 to 5 postal workers behind the counter, and the line is out the door most of the time. They all act like nothing is going on.
