blue and brown paint cups
I’ve been using acrylics much like watercolor paint lately. I mix the colors in these paint cups, and add water. The paint doesn’t dry out nearly as fast this way. It’s getting to that time of year where I consider switching to oil paint. The spring and summer months are brutal on acrylic paint, and it dries on my palette before I get a chance to use even a small amount. I’ve often thought it would be best to use oils instead, and this year I’m going to do it. I have a bag full of my mother’s oil paint, which I’ve been saving. There’s never going to be a time more perfect than now, right? I’m a little nervous because oils are a whole new ballgame, but it will be fun to experiment, and change things up. Who knows? I might never want to return to acrylics once I get the hang of it.

I can see what kind of day it’s going to be around here with the butt buddies.
zzzzzzzz
Sweet Pea snores, and it’s the cutest thing in the world. The other day she came up on me, here at my desk. I got so comfy that I fell asleep holding her. Next thing I knew I woke up to her snoring in my ear. Soooo adorable. I could have died right there. :)))
What’s your Monday looking like or dare I ask?
