Another early morning, I got up at 5:14, and went immediately to the studio. It’s best if I do that because once my feet hit the floor, I have 3 kitties who are like..OOOOH, Mom’s up. Let’s PLAY!! They have oodles of energy first thing in the morning, as do I, in the winter. I make a dash for the studio to give my husband time to sleep.
I reshot the photos of this chickadee bird painting that I’ve been meaning to do for months now. The old photos were much too dark with a plain white background. These photos are more true to life.
It’s not always easy to shoot artwork, and have it look exactly like the piece. Camera settings, lighting..it’s taken me years of studying photography, and I still don’t get it right sometimes. I shoot every photo manually, and every time I move to take a new shot, I have to change the setting. The auto setting is just plain horrid. I don’t advise on using it.
Happy Saturday! What are you up to on this fine day?
