Oops!
This is another acrylic portrait painting that I recently revised using oil pastels. I’ve been on a bit of a roll lately, and working on bringing my old paintings up to speed.
I don’t remember off the top of my head when I first painted this one, but looking at past photos of it, it’s been revised three times now. Hopefully this will be the last time, and she will find her forever home.
It feels a little strange working on canvas again. It’s been a long while. I stopped buying canvas 3 or 4 years ago. Canvas takes up a lot of space, which I don’t have. So, I’m on a mission to revise the paintings I have left in storage, and hopefully find them new homes.
Not only is it much easier to store & ship flat paintings, it’s also cheaper because I don’t have to buy boxes. It gets expensive, especially since I used to work in many sizes. One size box doesn’t fit all. Plus, having to buy all the packing material on top of that. It’s too much.
Once these are sold, I’m most likely going to stick to paper & panels in just a few different sizes.
If you’re interested in this painting, you will find it here.
