Zombie Darling No 1

I’ve been holding back on saying anything about this new zombie series I started creating back in July. I made the first one, and had so much fun, I didn’t want to stop.
The reason I’ve been holding back talking about them is because I thought they might be out of season…y’know, because Halloween was far away at the time. Then I thought about it, and questioned my way of thinking.

Zombies have a season? That’s just ridiculous. We all know Zombies don’t appear suddenly for Halloween, and then disappear. They’re here walking the earth every day, especially down by the courthouse. I also see them out and about in liquor stores, and the edible shops for some reason, so yeah. Why should I limit myself on creating, and talking about them only certain months a year? That’s just stupid.

Not everyone can or will want to appreciate a zombie painting, and that’s fine. You don’t have to email me your opinion. I promise I get it. I already knew before starting this series that my little Zombie Darlings won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. But, they are my cup of tea, and such a blast to create. I absolutely adore them. I figure there might be one or two of you who will also like them, too. So why not share any old time of year?

I hope you liked reading my little tongue in cheek post. I woke up in a silly mood today, and felt like sharing it with you. That plus, I mean, c’mon..look at these Zombie Darlings and try to be serious. They make me “HAhahaha” out loud, and on the inside, too. Makes me forget about all the world’s problems for a heartbeat or two, and that’s exactly what I need today. They’re just ridiculous. You need one to hang on your wall for that reason alone, yeah? 😉
