I highly recommend getting a jar of this wax for art journaling, and to use as a sealant for paintings. I took a macro shot of the label, so you can read what it says. I haven’t tried mixing it in my paint, but I watched some youtube videos about it, and artists seem to love using it that way.
I didn’t wax my journal pages, and guess what happened? Well, acrylic paint is a plastic, and it was 100F here last week. In the hot months it’s real easy for art journal pages to stick together. I ripped it to shreds when I tried to unstick the pages. This is the end result. :/ I guess I should have remembered to rub a little wax on it, huh? This page I don’t particularly care about, so it’s okay. If it had been a page I love, I would be mad at myself.
You can read more about Dorland’s wax here.
Lots of good info!
