Black and white creates a strange dreamscape that color never can.

I’m not sure why, but my husband said this is one of his favorite paintings in my art journal. I showed him my faves, and he was like “meh, I like this one better.” I found that interesting. The eye likes what it likes. Fair enough, but I still say he’s wrong. lol 

I’m not sure who this girl is, but I’ve painted her many times over the years. She lives in my imagination for some reason, and every so often she pops back out on the canvas. Maybe she’s someone I knew in a past life?
