ON WITNESS AND RESPAIR: A PERSONAL TRAGEDY FOLLOWED BY PANDEMIC – this was hard to read, yet beautifully written.
I’ve tried several times (5) to watch The Social Dilemma, but I couldn’t seem to get through it without falling asleep. I finally managed to finish it. There wasn’t anything new in the documentary to me. I had heard people were deleting their social accts after seeing the doc, I kept thinking I was going to be shocked by lots of insider info. Didn’t happen.
I’m Thinking of Ending Things was also a no for me. Sitting through those incredibly long, boring car scenes was zzzzzz..gah. I forced myself to stay awake when sleeping would have been the far better choice.
Dinner For Schmucks was hilarious! I mean, Steve Carell..c’mon, of course it was good. I highly recommend. That wine scene made me belly laugh.
I’m rewatching The Office, like a lot of people during the pandemic. It never gets old or goes out of style. I remember waiting anxiously for the next episode back in the day, and now I’m so lucky to be able to binge as many as I need. Only for a limited time, tho! I just read NBC is removing The Office from Netflix in January 2021. Yikes!! I’m only on Season 3. I better hurry up and start bingeing.
100 Humans: Life’s Questions. Answered. This was another thumbs down for me. I found it annoying, and didn’t get through the first episode.
Love on the Spectrum – OMGosh..so sweet. Sooo good. I hope they do a follow up, and a season 2.
The Great British Baking Show – even though I can’t eat any of the food they bake, I torture myself by watching this anyway. From what I’ve seen so far, I like the judges..they seem fair, respectful and kind to the bakers.
