I was going through old pics in iphoto the other day, and found these sketches I’m sharing today. When I went looking for the paintings online, I realized I had only listed one of them.

I tend to forget about oil paintings after I paint them because of the long drying time. I usually move on pretty quickly once a painting is finished.
After seeing these photos, I realized I also have several other oil portraits sitting on a drying rack in my studio from 2 years ago. Oops!! Think they’re dry now? lol

My office admin/photographer/blogger/seller self has never been able to keep up with my artist self. It’s something I’ve struggled with for years. I enjoy the creating part more than the office work part.
The funny thing is – when I sit down to write my weekly blog posts every Saturday, I always think I have nothing to blog about.

The truth is I have 100s of paintings and art journal pages I’ve never shared online because hardly a day goes by that I don’t draw or paint. I guess that’s a good problem to have, eh?
I hope you have a creative Monday.
