This was shot with my iPhone under harsh overhead lighting. 
My studio is in a chaotic mess right now.

Wash Day

I told Dotty one of her paintings of laundry hanging on a line reminded me of a painting I painted about ten years ago. I wasn’t sure if I still have a photo of it. I’ve gone through 5 or 6 computers since then. Surprisingly, I found it, and I was right about the date..I painted it in 2007. November 17, 2007 to be exact. 

It’s a painting of my husband hanging clothes on the line, as he cautiously looks around to make sure no one is watching him. It is rumored he had put all his clothes in the washer, and didn’t have anything else to wear, except one of my skirts. This might or might not be a true story. I’ll leave it up to you to decide.
