This was such a fun painting to create. It’s one of my favorites so far from this 30 paintings in 30 days, and 29 Faces challenge. It came together so easily, and for some reason when that happens, I have a great fondness for the painting. The ones I have to work really hard on..eh. I don’t usually end up liking them at all. Every time I look at them, I’m reminded of all that work..all those hours, and hair pulling it took to get it where it is, and I find it hard to like the painting. Everything went very smoothly with this one, and I’m happy to say it’s a new favorite. 🙂

I want to wish a very Happy Birthday to my Aunt Jeanne, and my grandmother today. Gram is no longer with us, but this story is so special. My grandmother’s youngest daughter was born on her birthday. Aww. :))) It makes me smile every time I think of it. Happy happy birthday to two very special women in my life!!
