I keep flip flopping between oil pastels and watercolor paints lately. When I’m using oil pastels, I think they’re my favorite, and then I switch to watercolors, and I fall in love with them. I can’t make up my mind which one I love most.  

All these paintings were drawn and painted by me using stabilo pencils, watercolor pencils, and Sennelier watercolor paints on 135 lb watercolor paper.

Seeing Sounds

I was in a silly mood when I was creating these, if you can’t tell already. I had taped the words “keep it weird” on my drawing board as a reminder to myself of the direction I want to go with these new portraits. It was the first thing I saw when I sat down to paint, and I think it helped me to stay on track. These are definitely weird. lol
