I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been trying to make friends with other colors lately, and let go slightly of my beloved pink. The love is strong between us still, but I’m trying to reach across the aisle to all the pink haters out there. I know it’s a color despised by many, especially women, and I totally get it. 

I struggled with today’s painting. I don’t know what it is, but I have the hardest time warming up to purple. It gives me an uneasy feeling, and I have no idea why. Why??!? Maybe it’s because it’s the color of a bruise? Idk?
