I’m trying to get back into the swing of things now that my husband’s vacation is over. I took a little vacation from working out every morning, and only got on the treadmill once last week. So, it’s back to the daily grind this week. I’m starting off slowly with only 30 mins a day, and working back up to an hour plus a day. Day two is over, and I’m excited to get to work in the studio.

This week I’m also back to daily painting because I’ve finally caught up listing all my paintings on Etsy. Woo! It’s a great feeling to finally catch up with myself. I can’t remember the last time that happened because I paint a lot. Right now, I’m concentrating on birds, and I must say, they’re pretty cute. Here’s a glimpse..

I’m almost out of 4×4 canvas panels, and I’ve been debating if I want to buy more. I know I’ve said here before that I was done with the mini paintings once I used them all. I recently started thinking about it again, and I kept going back and forth in my mind, almost landing on no each time. When I finished these little guys, I knew I wanted to keep painting these minis. Long live the mini paintings!! So, I ordered 200 more of them, along with 100 6x6s wood panels, 20 6×6 canvas, another gallon of gesso, and a couple palette knives. Merry Christmas to me!! It’s going to be a long winter. I’m happiest when my shelves are stocked up with endless supplies to keep me busy.
